I find Buttercup's greed to be funny and relatable, because we all had that point in our lives where we were entitled to have things (for Buttercup's case, money by knocking out teeth) that we want through any means necessary. Whenever I lost my pack of Vaseline, I would lose my own confidence, much like how Buttercup lost her confidence when she temporarily lost her security blanket.Īnd yes, this means I like the episode Moral Decay, an episode that many people of the fandom dislike. I used to carry a pack of Vaseline as a comfort item because I felt self-conscious about my own dried up lips. In Cover Up, Buttercup can't properly fight without her security blanket, which I can relate to. In fact, I find the episodes starring Buttercup (like Cover Up) to be some of my favourite episodes on the show because I can heavily relate to her. I also can relate to that, because I too struggled to be special in order to stick out from the crowd (like how Buttercup was trying to find her own special power in order to make herself special). To me, I can't stop laughing at it because I find it so funny. when in reality, it's anything BUT special. In it, Buttercup thinks curling her tongue is a special ability. In my opinion, I find the episode Nuthin' Special to be one of my favourite episodes because of the irony. PLEASE STOP READING IF YOU CAN'T STAND THIS OPINION. (And as for episodes like Sun Scream, Girls Gone Mild, & Sweet & Sour, I can't comment on them, because I haven't fully seen them.) Nowadays, I can tolerate it, but I wouldn't watch it again.) In fact, when I first watched it, I had to frequently pause it because I couldn't stand the crying. For Frownsville however, I agree that it's bad, but I don't really think it's horrible. For Fallen Arches, Town & Out, & A Very Special Blossom, I don't hate them, rather I'm confused as to what the writers were trying to accomplish in those episodes. Fallen Arches, Town & Out, A Very Special Blossom, & City Of Frownsville) are episodes that I dislike, but I don't find them to be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Some of the bad episodes that the fans hate (i.e. (SECOND LARGEST UNPOPULAR OPINION INBOUND) But yet they stopped watching it after seeing that scene cause they think it's too "mean-spirited". That was suppose to happen, it wasn't against Buttercup's personality. Those who hate on episodes like All Chalked Up (and a few that I'll talk later) because Buttercup broke Bubbles's chalk are ridiculous, because they didn't watch the full episode and give it a full chance. The rest are episodes that I don't care about (Twisted Sister, Birthday Bash) or stuff that I couldn't stand no matter how hard I tried (Stuck Up, Up, and Away, Supper Villain) I feel that Season 2 isn't a very good season, with only a few episodes I legitimately enjoy like The Powerpuff Girls Best Rainy Day Adventure Ever, Down and Dirty, Cootie Gras, & Cover Up. Now I know this is just a me problem and I understand that's part of her personality but I'm sorry, I can't stand it. ![]() No matter how hard I try to tolerate it, I can't stand it. ![]() I think I'm only PPG fan who thinks Princess Morbucks's voice is annoying as hell. I agree that seasons 5 & 6 are bad, but to me they're are more boring & forgettable than anything. I think the ending to HIM Diddle Riddie is stupid (When HIM states to the girls that the professor will "pay", the girls didn't take the time to realize what the word could alternatively mean, and they don't realize this until the end when the professor literally "pays" for HIM's flapjacks) I think the Rowdyruff Boys are flat & uninteresting characters without any special character traits whatsoever (besides the fact that they're evil & they're distaff counterparts to the Powerpuff Girls) You're free to disagree with me if you like.ĪNYWAY, HERE ARE MY UNPOPULAR POWERPUFF GIRLS OPINIONS Please don't lynch me for having these opinions.
